Bacteri static highly active against
Str. Pyrogenes and Str. Pneumoniae, N.gonorrhoeae,
C.lostridia, C.dephtheriae, listeria, campylobacter,
legionella and mico plasma. Moderately sensitive or
H.Influenzae, H.Dureyi, B.pertusis, Chlamydia Trachomatis,
Str.Virdans, N.Meningitidis, Rickettsiae.

Each uncoated tablet contains :Erythromycin
I.P. 250 mg.As Erythromycin Estolate I.P.Bromhexine
Hydrochloride I.P. 8 mg.

| Indications |
Upper respiratory tract infections, acute
pneumonia, Vaginitis due to Chlamydia trachomatis. Impetigo.
Wound and burn infections. Infected eczema. Acne vulgaris.
Sycosis vulgaris and anti tussive. |
| Dosage |
250mg 6 hrly; the dose may be doubled
for se4vere infections. Gonorrhoea: 500mg 6 hrly for
6-7 daysSyphillis : 1gm 6 hrly for 10-15 days (30 days
in late Syphillis)Prophylaxis against streptococci:
250mg 12 hrly.Children : 7.5-25mg/Kg body wt hrly or
15-50mg/Kg body wt. 12 hrly. The dose can be doubled
if required in severe cases. |
