Description |
: A potent dopamine antagonist with
anti emetic properties. It is useful in the treatment
of nausea, vomiting and dyspepsia. It increases lower
oesophageal sphincter pressure antral and deodenal
contractions, gastric emptying of liquids and semi-solids
and shortens the stationary phase for solids in the
stomach.

Indications |
Symptomatic relief of acute nausea and
vomiting. Gastric motility disorders such as reflux,
oesophagitis and duodeno gastric dyspeptic symptoms. |
Dosage |
Adults: 20 to 40mg 3 to 4 times daily.Children:
0.3mg/Kg body weight 3 to 4 times daily before meals
and at bed time. |
