Briefly, what is roll-forming?
A strip of metal, usually in coil form, is passed through a series of roller dies and progressively shaped to a design contour. Coil starting width, type, and gauge of metal determine design possibilities.
What metals can be roll-formed?
Practically all metals including aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, galvanized steel, stainless steels, carbon steel, and a long list of exotic alloys.
Can you roll-form finished materials?
Roll-formed shapes can be economically produced from an almost limitless variety of stock that has been preprocessed – extruded, painted, vinyl-coated, anodized, embossed, and even surface treated.
What routine inspections do you perform?
Dynamic Metal’s rolled metal shapes are carefully inspected to insure the highest quality in finish straightness, dimensional accuracy, and packed to provide full protection in shipment.
Can Dynamic’s engineers help with the design?
Dynamic Metal’s design staff welcomes the opportunity to work with you in the early planning stages. We can suggest designs that will trim costs by simplifying production and assembly. For example, it may be possible to combine several assemblies into a one-unit piece.
